About The Role/s

The development role is vital in developing and supporting the development of the Staffordshire FA football workforce, particularly the 4,100 coaches and 3,900 volunteers working across the 2,600 teams, providing a crucial personal development offer to support the backbone of grassroots football season after season.

As grassroots football continues to develop, exciting changes are on the horizon, including the introduction of 3v3 formats and updates to youth pathways for the 2026/27 season. These changes bring fresh opportunities, but also a responsibility to support the people who make the game happen.

Staffordshire FA are committed to helping parents, coaches, and volunteers build their knowledge, foster positive behaviours, and feel confident in their roles. By doing so, they will ensure that new participants not only feel welcome but are inspired to stay involved for the long term.

As the Football Workforce Officer, your work will directly support the Staffordshire FA vision to Support, Develop, Unite and Protect grassroots football across Staffordshire.
