Hampshire FA is seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer to join its Safeguarding Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in promoting and embedding safeguarding best practice across grassroots football, helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of Hampshire FA's safeguarding programme, contribute to The FA's Safeguarding 365 standards, work with clubs and leagues across the county, and help drive a strong safeguarding culture throughout the grassroots game.
Key requirements include:
- Experience in a child protection, safeguarding or welfare-related role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and providing excellent support to volunteers and stakeholders.
