The Role

Middlesex FA has opened recruitment for Commercial Advisory Board Members, with the successful candidate to support the Chair and other members in shaping the future of grassroots football in Middlesex.

Commitment:

Attend 4-6 online meetings per year, actively contributing to your role as a Commercial Advisory Board (CAB) Member. 

What is the role?

CAB Members will act as an ambassador for Middlesex Football Association and a custodian of the highest standards of integrity and governance. The members will bring recent and relevant commercial strategy, partnerships, and revenue growth experience that will build on Middlesex FA's existing commercial partnerships.

They will work closely with the wider Board, ensuring that they are informed through relevant and timely information. They will be required to form a strong relationship with the Chair and relevant Middlesex FA staff members, providing support and acting as a sounding board on all commercial matters.

What will you do?

• Provide strategic advice and constructive challenge on commercial strategy and growth opportunities
• Support the development of partnerships, sponsorship and revenue opportunities across Middlesex FA and Rectory Park (the headquarters of MFA)
• Use your network and industry expertise to help open doors and create meaningful introductions
• Share insight into emerging market trends, brand partnerships and audience engagement
• Act as a trusted sounding board to the Chair, Board and executive team on commercial matters
• Champion innovation and help Middlesex FA maximise the wider social and commercial value of football

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Commercial / sponsorship / sales leadership
• Strong business networks 
• Strategic thinkers 
• Passion or knowledge of grassroots football 
• A progressive mindset and desire to help shape the future of the organisation

Experience across areas such as sponsorship, brand partnerships, media, marketing, commercial growth, digital, fundraising or business development would be highly valuable.

Salary Band: Voluntary (Business expenses included)
