Coach Development Co-ordinator (Part-Time, Permanent)
Sussex County FA is seeking to recruit a dedicated Coach Development Co-ordinator on a part-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will support the operations of the Football Development Department and contribute to the effective delivery of the Grassroots Football Strategy.
This position will play a key role in the growth and implementation of the expanding Coach Development Programme, working closely with the current Coach Development Lead. A central responsibility will be the coordination of a casual workforce to deliver high-quality CPD opportunities across the county, ensuring coaches are well supported and connected through the Thriving Clubs initiative.
Additionally, the role will involve collaboration with colleagues to positively influence broader areas of the grassroots game, helping to foster and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants.
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate a clear understanding of the position and how their skills and experience align with the essential and desirable criteria. They should also be able to showcase their passion and professionalism for the role.
The appointed individual will report to the Coach Development Lead, followed by the Football Development Manager and the Chief Executive Officer.
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior experience in project management
- A background in coaching
- Ideally hold a UEFA C qualification
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends

Role Details:
- 21 hours per week, Monday to Friday (specific days/times to be confirmed)
- Occasional evening and weekend work required
- Salary: £14,000 per annum (subject to a 3-month probationary period)
- Annual leave: 20 days pro-rata
