The Role

Club Development Officer – Oxfordshire FA

Location: Hybrid role with opportunities to work from Oxfordshire FA's offices in Bicester, from home, and across the county
Salary: £26,000 per annum, rising to £28,000 upon successful completion of a 3-month probation period
Hours: 35 hours per week (evening and weekend work required in line with role demands)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

To support the local delivery of The FA's landmark four-year strategy – A Thriving Grassroots Game – Oxfordshire FA is seeking an experienced football or sports development professional to lead the implementation of both FA and Oxfordshire FA priorities across the county.

The Club Development Officer will be part of Oxfordshire FA's dedicated Football Development Team, supporting and developing England Accredited clubs to grow and sustain opportunities while ensuring a high-quality experience on and off the pitch. The role contributes directly to the organisation's strategic objectives:

  • Open Play: Enhancing player choice and creating opportunities for all
  • Fair Play: Addressing poor behaviour and promoting respect
  • Team Play: Supporting community clubs to thrive and strengthening the network of volunteers, coaches, and referees
  • Safe Play: Improving facilities and advancing governance across the game
