The Nottinghamshire Football Association are looking to appoint a full time Head of Operations (Deputy SSL).

Reporting directly to the CEO the successful applicant will be required to demonstrate that they are a committed and hard-working person who is passionate about the future of grassroots football in Nottinghamshire. They will have experience of grassroots football and be a good effective communicator with high levels of customer service. 

Job Title: Head of Operations (Deputy SSL)

Salary band: £33,000 - £38,000

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Contract type: Permanent

Working Hours: 35 hours per week with a requirement for occasional evening and weekend work.

Overview of the role

• Lead the Football Operations Team, ensuring effective delivery across governance, discipline, and regulation.
• Support the implementation of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Nottinghamshire FA Business Strategy.
• Manage an effective and efficient programme of events including County Cups, Discipline, Registrations, Memberships, Sanctioning and Customer Service for the CFA.
• Manage operational budgets and income streams.
• Act as a key member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to strategic decision-making.
• Act as Deputy Senior Safeguarding Lead in the absence of the CEO (Senior Safeguarding Lead).
• Ensure compliance with The FA's Safeguarding Operating Standard and all relevant rules and policies.

The successful applicant will need to be passionate and committed to the development of football at a local level; be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. They will need to demonstrate exceptional customer service, be able to work as part of a team with excellent planning, communication and presentation skills. 

The organisation is committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk of harm, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All relevant staff are required to undertake an FA DBS Enhanced level check and sign the Safeguarding Code of Conduct.

You will be required to work 35 hours per week and have a flexible approach to hours worked, as these will include evenings and weekends.
