The Nottinghamshire Football Association are looking to appoint a full time Head of Operations (Deputy SSL).

Reporting directly to the CEO the successful applicant will be required to demonstrate that they are a committed and hard-working person who is passionate about the future of grassroots football in Nottinghamshire. They will have experience of grassroots football and be a good effective communicator with high levels of customer service.
Job Title: Head of Operations (Deputy SSL)
Salary band: £33,000 - £38,000
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Contract type: Permanent
Working Hours: 35 hours per week with a requirement for occasional evening and weekend work.
Overview of the role
- Lead the Football Operations Team, ensuring effective delivery across governance, discipline, and regulation.
- Support the implementation of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Nottinghamshire FA Business Strategy.
- Manage an effective and efficient programme of events including County Cups, Discipline, Registrations, Memberships, Sanctioning and Customer Service for the CFA.
- Manage operational budgets and income streams.
- Act as a key member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Act as Deputy Senior Safeguarding Lead in the absence of the CEO (Senior Safeguarding Lead).
- Ensure compliance with The FA's Safeguarding Operating Standard and all relevant rules and policies.
The successful applicant will need to be passionate and committed to the development of football at a local level; be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. They will need to demonstrate exceptional customer service, be able to work as part of a team with excellent planning, communication and presentation skills.

You will be required to work 35 hours per week and have a flexible approach to hours worked, as these will include evenings and weekends.
