The Role

The Finance Officer role at Northumberland FA supports the delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Northumberland FA Business Strategy. The role is responsible for managing the association's financial operations, ensuring compliance with best practices, and supporting financial reporting and budgeting.

 

Job purpose:

  • To support delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Northumberland FA BusinessStrategy.
  • To control the Northumberland Football Association financial operations in accordance with bestpractice (refer to County FA Financial Operating Guidance Manual).
  • To contribute to the effective implementation of The FA's Safeguarding 365 Standard for CountyFAs.
  • To support the adoption of FA technology systems across grassroots football.
  • To comply with FA rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidance that are in place from time to time.

 

Contract & Salary:

  • Location: St Peter's Sports Hub, Wallsend
  • Contract: Fixed-term until June 2028 (subject to funding)
  • Hours: 15 per week
  • Salary: £25,000 per annum (pro-rata)
