About the Role

We are seeking a Chair of the Board to provide strategic leadership and governance oversight. This is an opportunity to shape the future of grassroots football in Northumberland by driving innovation, inclusion, and growth within the game.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Board in setting the Association's vision and strategy
• Ensure strong governance, financial accountability, and transparency
• Work collaboratively with the CEO and Board to uphold best practices
• Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion across football in Northumberland
• Represent the Association externally, fostering key partnerships and relationships

Who We're Looking For:

We welcome applications from individuals with experience in leadership, governance, or strategic planning. A background in football is not essential, but we are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in board-level leadership or decision-making
• Understands governance, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement
• Can inspire, challenge, and guide the Northumberland FA team
• Is passionate about community impact and the power of grassroots sport
