Northamptonshire FA are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join the team and oversee financial performance, strengthen financial procedures, and manage all financial matters across the business.

At an exciting point in their strategy where Northamptonshire FA are increasing their delivery across the football pathways, recently opened the Kettering Sports Park (a facility which includes a brand-new 3G Football Turf Pitch, a 400m athletics track and a refurbished pavilion), Northamptonshire FA are FA Code of Governance Compliant and have recently passed the NSPCC Safeguarding 365 assessment, and are looking to further strengthen their effectiveness as a County Football Association.

The Head of Finance will report directly to the CEO and have line management responsibilities for the Finance Assistant. They will ensure that financial reporting is in line with legal and regulatory requirements and ensure that the Board has accurate and timely information to inform decision-making. As part of the Senior Management Team, they will engage with colleagues across the business to manage finance operations. 

Northamptonshire FA are looking for a qualified accountant with a high level of proficiency in using Xero accounting software who is experienced in developing and embedding financial procedures with a small,l highly motivated team.
