The Role

Lancashire FA is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join the team as a Coach Development Officer, playing a key role in supporting England Football Accredited Clubs. This role will focus on embedding the Thriving Community Club framework, driving sustainability across the club network, and leading the growth and delivery of high-quality coach development opportunities.

Working closely with club leaders and coaching leads, the appointed person will ensure that every coach has access to meaningful learning, mentoring, and professional development. They will also manage and deploy a diverse Casual Coach Developer workforce, helping to deliver consistent, high-quality support to clubs and county-wide programmes.

To succeed in this role, the candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm for coach development, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity, and safeguarding.

This is a full-time position, based at The County Ground in Leyland, with regular travel across Lancashire. Flexibility is essential, as evening and weekend work will be required to deliver coaching and development programmes. The role offers a salary of £24k along with a comprehensive benefits package.
