The Role

An opportunity has arisen to join the Gloucestershire FA as a Coach Development Lead. 

Location: Oaklands Park, Almondsbury, Bristol. BS32 4AG

Salary: up to £26,000 pa

Hours per week: 37.5.

Closing Date: 5:00pm on Wednesday 18th March 2026

Vacancy Type: Fixed Term Contract, expiring 30th June 2028

 

The Role

We are looking for an individual with passion, energy, and a positive outlook to lead grassroots coach development at across the county. This role will support, service and develop England Football Accredited clubs to grow and sustain Coaching and Coach Development opportunities.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about grassroots football and coach development, who can build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners to support the development and delivery of a Coach Development programme.

The successful candidate will also play their part in delivery of the Gloucestershire FA Business Strategy, by developing participation activities, development centres, and alternative education programmes, and also ensure they help to make football safe by supporting delivery of the County FA Safeguarding 365 Operating Standards.
