Chair of the Board of Directors

The Chair of the Board of Directors for Cornwall FA provides leadership to the Board, overseeing the affairs of the Association and holding the Board accountable for its performance. Ensuring the company meets its legal, regulatory, and fiduciary responsibilities while promoting the success of the company in accordance with its constitution and objectives.

The Chair provides leadership to the board, sets its strategic direction and ensures effective operations whilst supporting the CEO in their responsibilities of the day-to-day management of the organisation.

Director of Audit and Risk

The Director of Audit and Risk will be key to ensuring the integrity and sustainability of Cornwall FA's operations, providing assurance to the Board and stakeholders that risks are being managed effectively and that the organisation is operating within a robust control environment. The Audit and Risk Board Director will bring a rigorous, objective, and strategic approach to the organisation's audit and risk management activities.

Director of Facilities and Commercial

The Director of Facilities and Commercial will be key to ensuring the organisation's physical assets are managed effectively, providing a safe and functional environment for its operations. The Director of Facilities and Commercial will also bring a strategic approach to income generation, commercial activities and innovative thinking to Cornwall FA as it develops and opens its first facility.

Director of Finance

The Director of Finance role will be crucial for the financial health and sustainability of the organisation, ensuring that it can continue to fulfil its mission effectively. This role involves collaborating with the CEO and Board members, overseeing marketing campaigns and public relations, and representing the Organisation at various events, with a focus on promoting diversity and inclusion.

Director of People, Culture and HR

The Director of People, Culture and HR will be vital for ensuring the organisation's human resources are managed effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive culture that aligns with the organisation's mission and values. The Director of People, Culture and HR will bring a strategic and operational focus to the management of the organisation's people, contributing to its overall governance and success.

Independent Non-Executive Director

The Independent Non-Executive Director will provide strategic leadership and governance, ensuring the company meets its legal, regulatory, and fiduciary responsibilities while promoting its success in accordance with its constitution and objectives. This role involves active participation in Board meetings, engagement with stakeholders, and collaboration with the executive team to monitor performance and align with strategic goals.
