The Role

Vacancy | Football Behaviour & Impact Officer


Location: This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work remotely from the Berks & Bucks FA office (Milton Park, Oxfordshire), from home, and across the County.
Salary: Band 4 (£26,280–£32,181) per annum, dependent on experience.
Hours: 35 hours per week, with a requirement to work evenings and weekends in line with the demands of the role.
Contract: Full Time – Fixed Term Contract (expiring June 2028)

The Opportunity

Berks & Bucks FA is seeking a dedicated individual to join the organisation in a unique role focused on positively influencing behaviour in grassroots football. The Football Behaviour & Impact Officer will play a key role in promoting positive conduct among players, officials, and spectators, working closely with member Clubs, Leagues, and other stakeholders to address undesirable behaviour across the game.

Main Responsibilities

  • Implement initiatives to celebrate and reward positive behaviour
  • Deliver campaigns, interventions, and workshops to promote positive behaviour within the football community
  • Enhance the impact of FA promotional campaigns and interventions at a local level

Candidate Profile

  • An effective communicator with a proven ability to positively influence behaviour through advocacy and engagement
  • Experience in creating and leading impactful projects

Desirable Attributes

  • Passion for the positive impact of grassroots football
  • Understanding of the effects poor behaviour can have on young people
